Here's a look back at some of our favorite moments from the show.
By Max Nicholson

During its run, Nickelodeon's The Legend of Korra proved time and again how influential animated TV could be. Whether fans were gushing over the latest episode or debating minutia, it's undeniable that this series was special to a lot of people. It's also hard to pinpoint what made the show so great: diverse characters, compelling stories, amazing action, the rich universe -- everything? Suffice to say, picking the Top 10 episodes was a mighty task -- one fit for an Avatar -- but we somehow narrowed it down to a chosen few.

It's worth noting that, while I did take my original review scores into consideration, they weren't the final deciding factor in putting together the Top 10. Sometimes it takes a whole season (or the whole series) to put certain episodes into perspective. Plus, we had a slightly different scoring system back when The Legend of Korra first started, so there's that too.

Then I found this (link below) which intrigued me. What I found was Dolby Home Theater or 'Dolby Virtual Speaker' which is supposed to provide the expanded sound quality of Dolby on 2 speaker systems. It uses uncertified drivers so I was trying to see if there was another way. Dolby digital plus download lenovo.

Without further ado, here's our Top 10 The Legend of Korra Episodes..

'The Last Stand'

Released December 19, 2014

Where Can You Watch Legend Of Korra

'Sounds perfect.' - Korra

Given The Legend of Korra's move to online (and later back to TV), it's a minor miracle the show was able to end on its own terms. Thankfully, fans were given the ending they deserved, with the Avatar world being restored to balance -- complete with a requisite wedding epilogue.

Between the stunning action and emotional beats -- not to mention those groundbreaking (earthbending?) final moments between Korra and Asami -- 'The Last Stand' did what all good finales should do: make you want to watch the series all over again.

'The Ultimatum'

Released August 15, 2014

'As long as I'm breathing, it's not over.' - Tenzin

'The Ultimatum' stands out for several reasons, but most fans will remember it for the harrowing fight between Tenzin and Zaheer, which marked the first (and last) air-on-air duel. Not only did this episode show Tenzin at his very best, but it also tapped into his unwavering loyalty to his people and to Korra.

'A New Spiritual Age'

Released November 8, 2013

'I can make the sun shine?' - Korra

'A New Spiritual Age' was a huge episode for Korra, as she traveled to the Spirit World. Here, she regressed back into her little roly-poly self and teamed up with a wounded dragon bird of similar cuteness. From there, she met Iroh (yep, that Iroh!), whose sage-like words of wisdom gave Korra the motivation she needed to overcome her fear of the dark and find the light within.

This episode was also a standout for Jinora, who learned about Harmonic Convergence in Wan Shi Tong's Spirit Library.

'Darkness Falls'

Released November 22, 2013

'Korra, this fight is not over.' - Raava

Okay, sure, part one of the Book Two finale didn't have Avatar kaiju or spirit-y Jinora, but the stakes were the highest they'd ever been: Tenzin had to rescue his family from the Fog of Lost Souls (with Aang's help!), Korra had to fight the evil spirit Vaatu, and Unalaq merged with Vaatu to become the first ever Dark Avatar. (Seriously: What. The. Heck.)

'Darkness Falls' was also the episode where Korra lost her connection to all her past lives, which proved that the creators were not afraid of dramatically changing the Avatar world.

'Endgame'

Released June 23, 2012

'When we hit our lowest point, we are open to the greatest change.' - Aang

Originally, the Book One finale was going to be the end of The Legend of Korra. This was before the show was picked up as an ongoing series. As such, some fans have described 'Endgame' as being 'too clean' of a finale, but that's because it was meant to be standalone and complete. It's a lot like the original Star Wars in that way.

'Endgame' was underlined by three amazing moments. The first was Korra using airbending for the first time, thus overcoming her greatest obstacle in the series at that time. The second was Tarrlok and Amon's oddly touching but daring murder/suicide, which to this day remains one of the show's most 'adult' moments. And finally, there was Korra meeting Avatar Aang, who, along with the other past lives, restored Korra to full Avatar strength. All together, they made for one heck of a finale.
