In this article, we’re sharing more detail about how the new Queue in AME button in the Render Queue panel works.

Queue in AME: add compositions to the Adobe Media Encoder queue with render settings
You can now add compositions to the Adobe Media Encoder queue with the render settings you choose in the Render Queue panel. This allows you to render a draft copy of your composition using Adobe Media Encoder.
When you click the new Queue in AME button in the Render Queue panel, queued render items are added to Adobe Media Encoder. Only queued render items are added; completed, failed, or unqueued render items (such as when the output file name has not been set) are not added.
After the queued render items are added to Adobe Media Encoder, each item is unqueued (the checkbox in the Render column is disabled), and the date and time of queuing is logged in the Comment field.
Adobe Media Encoder will render these compositions using the settings defined in the Render Settings dialog. The following settings do not currently transfer to Adobe Media Encoder:
- Resolution (will render as Full)
- Guide Layers (will render as All Off)
- Field Render (will render as Off)
- 3:2 Pulldown (will render as Off)
- Skip existing files (not supported by Adobe Media Encoder; will render as Off)
Output Module settings, such as the format settings or color channel selection, do not transfer to Adobe Media Encoder.

The output file name and location of the output modules are resolved by After Effects before being transferred to Adobe Media Encoder. Note that because Adobe Media Encoder does not use file name and location templates, image sequence numbering may differ.
